Learn CalMath and get ahead of the curve

The CalMath methodology bridges the gap between common core objectives to standardized test Math problem solving. Our curriculums are adapted from the battle-tested teaching material from Hong Kong and Singapore. The performance in Math of the students from there consistently ranks near the top. Our teaching material begins with explanations of concepts, followed by illustrative examples and we reinforce the learning by exercises. In addition, our head teacher Ken Soh teaches students how to apply Means-ends analysis, a technique commonly used in AI, for solving Math problems. It is especially effective for Geometry, Trigonometry and also Elementary school word problems.

For 2022 Summer Camp, CalMath is offering Math and Science classes at all levels. In addition, we will have Computer Science classes taught by Silicon Valley industry veterans with over 25 years of real world experiences.  Our students will learn the principle of computer science while doing fun, graphical, interactive and educational projects using the most popular programming languages in the industry including Java, Javascript and Python, as well as databases like MariaDB and MySQL. One of our Java classes is specifically designed for those planning to take AP Computer Science A.
